Notes: In “Greetings” The tone rises at the end of the last word
Greeting is a kind of question or statement to begin a conversation. The greetings depend on the situation.
Example of Formal greetings:
1. We say “Good Morning” When we meet someone early in the morning between 1 AM to 12 AM in the middle of the day.
2. We say “Good day” when we meet someone in the middle of the day at around 12 Am.
3. We say “Good Afternoon” when we meet someone in the afternoon between 1 PM to 6 PM.
4. We say “Good evening” when we meet someone in the evening at around 6 PM to 11 PM.
Beside saying Good Morning, Good afternoon or Good evening, we can also greet someone with informal greetings like : How’s everything with you? Good to see you again, How’s life? Etc.
